Introduction
Golden Star Keycap은 베트남에 기반을 둔 아티산 키캡 브랜드입니다. 현재는 편의상 GSK라는 이름으로 더 많이 불리지만, 브랜드의 정식 명칭과 그 영감의 원천인 조국 베트남의 국기를 늘 기억하고자 합니다. GSK는 재능 있는 아티스트와 스토리텔러들로 구성된 팀이며, 여느 커뮤니티 기반 브랜드와 마찬가지로 매우 소박한 시작을 가졌습니다. 창립자는 초기 기계식 키보드 커뮤니티에서 아티산 키캡을 접한 뒤 그 형태와 제작 과정에 매료되었고, 보석 세공 가문이라는 배경 또한 자연스럽게 영향을 주었습니다. 초기 2년간은 금속 키캡을 제작했으며, 이후 베트남으로 돌아와 레진 핸드캐스팅에 집중하며 브랜드를 재정립했습니다. 수많은 시행착오 끝에 탄생한 Velites를 시작으로, GSK는 지금도 연구와 개발을 이어가며 손으로 빚은 키캡에 의미 있는 이야기를 담아내고 있습니다. GSK는 하나의 가족이며, 열정과 창의성으로 새로운 도전을 이어가고 있습니다.
Golden Star Keycap is an artisan keycap house based in Vietnam, also known as GSK. The brand began with humble roots and grew from a fascination with the artisan keycap form, influenced by early involvement in the mechanical keyboard community and a family heritage in jewelry making. Initially focused on metal keycaps, the founder later returned to Vietnam and rebuilt the brand around hand-cast resin for greater creative freedom. After many trials, the sculpt Velites emerged as the first true expression of GSK’s identity. Today, GSK continues to tell meaningful stories through meticulously hand-sculpted and hand-cast artisan keycaps, driven by a close-knit team bound by passion, creativity, and dedication.
